Westminster Pharmaceuticals Announces USF Pharmacy Scholarship
Tampa, FL –– Westminster Pharmaceuticals recently announced the establishment of the Westminster Pharmaceuticals Scholarship in the USF Taneja College of Pharmacy, a new financial aid opportunity to equip pharmacy students with the resources necessary to turn their education into a rewarding, successful career.
The first round of scholarship applications is currently in review, and a selected recipient of the Westminster Scholarship will be announced in the first quarter of 2023. Students interested in applying for the Westminster Scholarship in the future can apply through the scholarships section of the USF student portal.
Westminster Pharmaceuticals hopes that this scholarship will allow students to achieve their scholarly pursuits in the field of pharmacy without the additional challenge of financial hardships. It is part of the company’s ongoing local commitment to the next generation of great pharmaceutical leaders and their CEO, Louis Sanchez’s alma mater, the University of South Florida.
Previously, WPRX and Louis were honored as a member of USF’s Fast 56 Class of 2021, an annual recognition bestowed by the Alumni Association to the world’s fastest-growing companies led by USF alumni. Additionally, WPRX had the privilege to host and sponsor one of the many exciting activities at the USF Alumni Association’s Green and Gold Gala at the Florida Aquarium in early 2022.
