Meet Brian Spoto, Senior VP of Sales
Brian Spoto has been an integral part of the Westminster team since he started. With decades of experience managing and directing sales initiatives and relationships, Brian has developed a strategy that fills some of the common industry gaps in sales service and differentiates WPRX through partnership communication and collaboration.
Brian’s main priorities in his role include managing the sales team as well as overseeing daily sales operations.
In a day in the life, Brian starts every morning off with a team meeting to go over high-level items and make a game plan for the next day or two. Once the sales team has met and been briefed on upcoming activities, Brian heads back to his office where he finishes any open tasks and responds timely to any bids or customer inquiries. The rest of his day is spent reaching out to established customers about new products or launches, speaking with sales account managers, and taking calls to ensure things are running smoothly. Brian’s responsibility of ensuring marketing efforts are aligned with the sales team offers strategic and creative thinking to the Westminster marketing team.
Pre-pandemic, many of Brian’s days were spent traveling, either at trade shows or taking in-person meetings with different accounts to provide important face-to-face interaction. Brian and his team highly value building personal relationships, oftentimes leading with humor and levity to lighten the pace and weight of such a technical field.
While most in-person activity has been on pause the past two years, travel is starting to pick back up and Brian expects to spend more time traveling and attending trade shows starting in the spring. In all interactions and efforts, Brian ensures the customer is first. His daily priority is supporting his customers and his sales team.
