WPRX Year in Review: A Look Back at 2021

Dear Customers and Partners,

I’ve often found that the best way to plan ahead is to look back. As we approach a new year, I wanted to take a moment to share some pride in the accomplishments, team, relationships, and partnerships we’ve developed at Westminster Pharmaceuticals in 2021 to serve our amazing customers.

It’s with this foundation that we set out to continue serving and improving our relationships with our pharmacy, manufacturing, distribution, and wholesale partners next year and in the years to come.

Having said that, here are some of our biggest highlights of a great 2021:

2021 Product Launches

Continuously adding new products to our repertoire is one of the ways we increase access to high-quality, safe, and affordable generic medications. In 2021 alone, Westminster Pharmaceuticals launched a total of 28 products, bringing the total number of SKUs in our catalog to 157.

Some of the new products launched in 2021 include:

Impactful Partnerships

We were grateful to partner with two incredible companies to support both our logistics and one of our biggest launches of the year.

We started off strong in January with a partnership with OEP Pharma. As the only ANDA holder to the single-source generic diabetic drug miglitol, OEP Pharma selected Westminster Pharmaceuticals among several other companies to enhance patient access through marketing and distribution.

A few months later, in March, we teamed up with R&S Solutions to streamline logistics through their 3PL service. We selected R&S Solutions to handle the fulfillment and distribution of Westminster products due to their long-standing record as a leader in the pharmaceutical and related healthcare industry. Since then, R&S has been hard at work creating a new state-of-the-art facility that will only improve our logistics operations once complete.

Growing the Team

One of the things I’m most proud of in this company is the wonderful team of employees we’ve built, and in 2021, we were pleased to add to that.

In May, we announced several new hires and two internal promotions. Brian Spoto moved to a Senior VP of Sales role and Paul Russo was promoted to National Accounts Representative in order to create new opportunities to leverage their knowledge and experience in ways that best serve our partners.

We also welcomed three new team members across departments including Olga Sanchez, in-house RN MSN, and Pharmacovigilance Specialist; Elizabeth Haynes, Accounting Clerk; and Briana Scanio, Marketing Manager.

USF Fast 56 Class of 2021 Recognition

Finally, in the fall, we were honored to be chosen as part of USF's Fast 56 Class of 2021, an annual recognition by the USF Alumni Association given to the world’s fastest-growing companies owned or led by USF alumni.

As a proud Bull, I couldn’t have been more excited to join the ranks of other Fast 56 winners, and I know that many of the other Bulls on the team felt the same. Thanks to our talented team of USF Bulls alumni, we've grown year after year since new ownership in 2016 by an average of 400%, so this recognition was incredibly meaningful to all of us.

As 2021 comes to an end, the Westminster Pharmaceuticals team and I look forward to what’s in store for 2022. We hope to use this past year’s milestones as stepping stones to continue growing our business, developing new partnerships, launching new in-demand products, and finding new ways to best serve our amazing customers.

Stay tuned for what’s to come.

Sincerely,

Louis Sanchez,

CEO, Westminster Pharmaceuticals
